About Hillendale

One of America’s fastest growing pastimes, sporting clays are enjoyed by men, women, and children regardless of their shooting ability.  It is an ideal corporate activity due to the combination of individual skills and team efforts. Our seventeen station course utilizes a variety of sporting clay targets which include: mini, midi, battue, rabbit, and standard clay targets.

Located near the intersection of Kettle Road and Lime Kiln Road

Traveling North on 1-99 (Rt. 220)
  • 6 miles north of Altoona take the Bellwood Exit (Rt. 865)
  • At exit ramp stop sign, turn right, drive over Skelp Mountain
  • At the stop sign in the small town of Skelp, turn right
  • 1/2 miles to a stop sign, turn right
  • 2.6 miles to the next stop sign, turn left
  • Clay range is 1.4 miles on left
Traveling South on 1-99 (Rt. 220)
  • 6 miles south of Tyrone take the Bellwood Exit (Rt. 865)
